We are often asked "Business IS Rocket Science? How does rocket science come into all of this?"
ADASTRO was founded in January 2003 by Cliff Kurtzman, who initially earned his Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Cliff worked for several years in the NASA community as a "rocket scientist" before becoming an entrepreneur and starting his first company in 1993.
Cliff learned first-hand that being a rocket scientist requires combining the creativity to boldly innovate with the ability to plan and execute precise strategy and process. One small mistake, one detail that is missed, is sometimes all that it takes to destroy years of planning and hard work. The challenges and competitive pressures affecting companies in the current economy dictate that the same degree of planning and innovation is often necessary in order for businesses to achieve truly enduring success.
